how long is a prayer room?

we have designed them to be approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the leader and prayer outline.

how do I sign up for a prayer room?

right now, you can sign up for a prayer room by sending us a message/dm through social media (facebook/instagram) or by requesting a code here. after you sign up or send us a message, we will send you a Zoom link for the prayer room.

will I have to lead a prayer time if I join a prayer room?

no. each prayer room will have 1-2 prayer room leaders who are facilitating the time. we encourage interaction through the Zoom chat feature and there may be time where the prayer room leader asks for others to lead a prayer if they feel comfortable doing so.

what will happen during a prayer room?

the prayer room leader will facilitate several different types of prayer during the 30-45 minutes. This includes praying scripture, prayers of intercession for specific areas, prayers of solitude/meditation, Spirit-directed prayers, etc.

do I need to sign up for a prayer room each week?

no. we only ask that you sign up the first time you join a prayer room to receive the prayer room Zoom link. once you have a link to a specific prayer room you can use that same Zoom link to join each week without signing up.

can I share my prayer room zoom link with others?

yes, we encourage you to share the link with people you know. we ask that you don't share the Zoom link publicly so that just anybody can enter the prayer room. we want to keep these prayer rooms safe/secure from anybody with ulterior motives.

How can I help the vision of Pray Tulsa move forward?

there are 3 ways you can be a part of moving this vision forward:

1 • join a prayer room and be faithful/consistent to be there each week

2 • invite other friends/family to join you in your prayer room

3 • join our Pray Tulsa team by being a prayer room leader or helping with administration and scheduling (info@citychurchtulsa.com if interested)

What does the future of Pray Tulsa look like?

We will continue to develop our strategy as we move forward. this website will continue to expand and serve as a prayer resource center and central place for the Pray Tulsa movement. also, once our COVID restrictions have improved, we will implement some physical prayer room locations, while also maintaining our Zoom prayer rooms. it is our vision to see prayer rooms taking place 20-30 hours a week for our city.
